Wellington Secondary School, Seismic Upgrade & Addition

Wellington Secondary School required seismic upgrades as it is constructed mainly from heavy concrete, which is more susceptible to earthquake damage than schools built primarily with wood. The scope of the project included an extended wing expansion, wall and roof demolition & replacement, and a new entrance off Departure Bay Road.
Atlas designed and installed a Fall Protection System prior to seismic upgrade, demolition and additions to provide a safe work environment for any workers working where there was potential for a fall.
