    Design Intent

    1. The system design allows for workers to safely access the confined space, in combination with rescue equipment and plan.
    2. Use of proper air testing/breathing equipment is required prior to trained personnel entering a confined space

    The confined space may consist of, but is not limited to the following:

    1. Sewage Water Treatment Plants/ Sump pit operations
    2. Manhole Operations
    3. Storage Tanks Operations
    4. Any closed room with only one entrance/exit
    5. Ships/vessels/ferries
