    We are currently seeking an experienced and versatile Construction Sales Professional for our Calgary office to cover Alberta and Eastern Canada..

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Acquiring and managing sales leads.
    • Conducting meetings with prospective clients.
    • Collaborating with the estimating team to generate bids and proposals.
    • Ensuring follow-up on leads to secure orders.
    • Overseeing and coordinating project installations.

    Secondary Responsibilities:

    • Handling general office administration tasks.
    • Maintaining and updating the sales database and project files in accordance with company procedures.
    • Assisting with project coordination.
    • Assisting with shipping and receiving.
    • Supporting product installations.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience working with architects, contractors, project managers, and developers.
    • Preferred experience in the construction industry.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents, specifications, and drawings.
    • Sales or customer service experience.

    The successful applicant will be professional and thrive in a fast paced, ever changing, and detail-oriented environment. This is a full-time position. Remuneration includes base salary plus commissions. This position requires a valid driver’s license, as travel is required.

    We are currently looking for a full-time Installation technician in our Vancouver Office. The right candidate should be proficient in performing the following primary duties:

    • Perform installations of fall protection systems, anchors and equipment to new construction and retrofit building industrial projects.
    • Review of project drawings, layout of proposed anchor systems in preparation and coordination with all required parties.
    • Organize shipment of product, packing slips and job-site instructions for installation to job-site on a timely basis and follow-up with Project Superintendent to ensure a proper installation will be achieved.
    • Ensure a complete and timely installation has been carried out. Inspect project work prior to leaving site and if final assembly has occurred, request production of Log Book & Comprehensive Report Package for client.
    • Complete required site review reports and internal documentation and return to your immediate supervisor as required.
    • Able to read architectural and structural drawings and follow directions closely.
    • Able to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
    • Possess a valid drivers’ license and reliable vehicle as some travel is required.
    • Follow all Company, Legislative and Job-Site safety policies and procedures.
    • Assist with other installation and inspection personnel when required.
    • Maintain a high level of communication with customers and Atlas staff.
    • Assist with large projects as required. Out of town and out of province work will occasionally be required to allow Atlas to meet our clients and contractual needs.

    Qualifications:

    • Knowledge and understanding of fall protection systems is required.
    • Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
    • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.

    • Comfortable working at heights including leading edge work.

    We are currently seeking a Field Representative to carry out Inspection Services in our Vancouver Head office. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, be detail orientated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Responsibilities include:

    Co-ordinate and perform Annual Inspection Services to Atlas completed project portfolio including:

    • In conjunction with the Inspections Coordinator, schedule annual inspections with clients.
    • Review of completed project drawings prior to commencing annual inspection.
    • Inspection of the anchor system and/or permanent fall protection equipment for compliance with current regulations, codes and standards.
    • Co-ordinate and arrange for off site inspection and re-certification of third-party equipment.
    • Coordinate review of annual inspection with Atlas’ designate professional engineer and/or Atlas’ Engineering department.
    • Work with estimating department to provide price proposal to client for any and allremedial work required as result of inspection.
    • Assist with the review of project drawings, layout of proposed anchor systems in preparation and coordination with all required parties.
    • Assist with install and assembly of new projects when and if necessary.
    • Maintain a high level of professional communication in all aspects of daily activities.
    • Additional responsibilities include administrative, inventory and shipping and receiving duties.

    Some travelling will be required in all jurisdictions serviced by Atlas. You are expected to provide a car and drive as part of your employment, (unless a company vehicle is provided) and submit a weekly record of your business mileage. Business mileage is reimbursed on a per KM basis.

    Candidates must be fluent in English both spoken and written & be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. The ability to read architectural and structural drawings and have construction experience and some fall protection knowledge would be a strong asset.

    This is a varied and key role in an important area of the construction industry with a variety of daily tasks to keep the successful candidate engaged and challenged.

    We are currently looking for a Subtrade Estimator in our Vancouver Head Office. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, be detailed orientated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Scheduling projects by priority and due date using Tech Team Task List.
    • Ensure that Documents, Specifications, Details and Drawings pertaining to Bid/Tender documents are received and reviewed in a timely fashion.
    • Prepare and send RFI (Request For Information) to clients where required.
    • Identify key areas by marking up window locations, anticipated equipment layout, and types of product required for each building.
    • Identify challenges, compatibility and alternatives for each project and promptly report findings to supervisor.
    • Follow up and co-ordinate with client contacts and Atlas Engineers, CADD & Technical Representatives to aid in submitting a successful quotation.
    • Prepare, edit, and review Proposals/Bids/Tenders and their price make up (PMU).
    • Occasionally travel to job site for meeting with client, justifying project information.

    The candidate must be fluent in English both spoken and written & be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Able to read architectural and structural drawings. Construction management background and Fall Protection knowledge would be a strong asset.

    We are currently looking for a Junior CADD Technician to join the Atlas Team. This is an entry level position with unlimited potential for growth.

    Your job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Produce engineered shop drawings for installation.
    • Produce pre-engineering drawings.
    • Produce fabrication drawings and details as required.
    • Examine/correct drawings for conformity and errors in accordance with relevant provincial regulations & CSA standards Print, photocopy & review internal & external drawings.
    • Communicate with clients, who includes Architects, Engineers, Developers, Contractors, Property Managers, and other Trades.
    • Scan and digitize drawings.
    • Site visits as required.
